The auto-generated HTML manual pages was yet another structure that we "hacked" into the old website. Even though you already have a local copy in your Gromacs installation directory (e.g. /usr/local/share/gromacs/html) it is quite handy to have an online web version too, so we have set it up at http://manual.gromacs.org. For now this will forward you to the "current" version, which right now is 4.0, but we intend to put all manual pages including older and development/git versions online soon!
