x2top

The x2top program generates a topology (either a .top or a .rtp) from a coordinate file.  The program makes use of .n2t files for atom type translation.  Note that the -nopbc option must be supplied to x2top in the 4.0.x series of GROMACS or else the program will hang.  In the 3.3.x series, this option was not necessary.
