.rtp File

An .rtp file is used by pdb2gmx to generate a topology.  Each residue entry starts with a directive for the residue abbreviation (i.e., [ ALA ]), followed by [ atoms ], [ bonds ], [ angles ], [ dihedrals ], [ impropers ], and [ exclusions ], with the specific content dictated by the force field chosen.
